Slutty Supperclub

aerial show in dining room
Yay for experiential dining! I finally got to SOMA's famous supperclub last night with Leo :). We got a groupon for it almost a year ago, and as with most groupons, never found the time. supperclub is basically a set price dinner + show experience that changes every night. You begin by sketchily lining up outside on the street until the doors open around 7:15. You are then led in to a disco ball filled, dark red waiting room where the hostess (a highly sassy drag queen) checks your reservation and escorts you in to the dining area.

The dining area is a square-shaped, two story white room. All of the normal lights are off, and colored lights fill the space. Instead of chairs/tables, the walls are lined with bed-like sofas. You are seated in a row, take your shoes off and lay down against a pillow. There is a convenient bed tray for all your food and drinks.
In the middle, a DJ spins loud music, and off to the side you can see an open kitchen where the food is prepared. You almost knock in to a trapese artist who is hanging in front of the entrance way. It is definitely one of those "we are def in SF/edgy global city" type establishments. The hostess was in giant hooker platforms, fishnets, and a see through shirt with pasties, and insisted that we all answer "SLUTTY!!!" whenever asked how we were or how our dinner was going. As she yelled out things like "raise your hand if you have a vagina!" and called the patron next to us "mr. german big dick," I had a great time imagining the result of a supperclub opening up in Salt Lake City ;D.

opera singer
The first course was very delicious. It was a little pot of curry with sour cream. It was kind of weird because I've never had straight up curry sauce with no rice or meat, but somehow it really worked and was a unique and awesome appetizer. The show to accompany appetizers was a dude dressed like a satyr that went to the top of the room, leaned out of a sheet with a hole in it, and did an interpretive dance to images and the song "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds." So bizarre.

In between courses/shows, there was a lot of down time to relax and mingle. The performers came around and talked to you, and there was a lot of random stuff going on. The next course was a salmon dish. I'm not entirely sure what else was on it... but there was def some cream sauce. It was alright, but nothing too special. The act to accompany it was a random opera singer. I'm not entirely sure what she was singing, but she was quite good, and it was a cool experience because she walked around the room and would stand right next to you while she belted it out.
The biggest surprise came next, I thought that it was going to be dessert, but randomly, there was a second main course! This time it was some sort of "free range chicken" thing. I'm not a big chicken fan, but the sauce was good and I liked the shallots. The act for this course was the best, the trapese girl did a set of aerial gymnastics on fabric. Since Ken & I actually took some classes in that, I appreciate how hard it is, and really enjoy watching the cirque-de-solei esque action!!
Finally, my favorite course :O dessert! This was a platter of random foods- strawberries, choco lava cake, passion fruit whipped cream, and apple gelato. Mmm, super good! Wish we had 2 courses of dessert :). The show for this was the hostess doing a strip tease number that ended in pouring champagne all over herself.

With the groupon, we still ended up paying $50. All drinks are extra, and they obviously include tip and tax from the original total. Totally worth it for that price!! I don't know if I'd go spend the full price for it, but it seems like you can frequently find coupon deals. It's a very very good date place. Almost all the patrons were young and hip, and there was also an older Indian couple on their 17th year anniversary. They looked SO uncomfy at first (bet the dude wished he had planned sooner and just gotten those French Laundry reservations), but by the end, they were having fun.

So yes, supperclub was a very fun time and I recommend you all go find coupons for it and take a date :) The whole dinner took about 3 hours, but it wasn't very busy... so that might be skewed down. Makes for a good night event. I love all these weird SF places. Just need to find some more!! (suggestions appreciated)

Strollin' Down the Boulevard

I always like it when my dad takes me to dinner because he picks the "hottest" places in SF. We definitely have different sources for defining hottest though... for me, I  like trying the new, weird & unique hole-in-the-walls, for him, it's all about the 10+ year renowned, Zagat rated, WSJ recommendations. I'm all about variety, so it's an awesome change.

For his bday celebration last night, he decided he wanted to try Boulevard down in SOMA by the Embarcadero. Last week, I had pre-emptively made reservations since I know this place fills up. I even had to call them in because their online service wasn't working. We were kind of late, so we called to warn them... but for some reason they had lost the reservations D: !! Luckily, they were very nice about it, and told us that they would make space for us.  Points.

The inside of the restaurant is very cute. It is dimly lit and supposed to be themed all Parisian style. I think the logo is loosely based off of a Metro sign. There are French looking show posters on the walls, and the ceiling has a really nice brickwork design. All the lighting fixtures are made of pretty blown glass as well.

We were both starving and ready to EAT :D. The bread was pretty tasty, and I highly enjoyed that they put salt (maybe even fleur de sel  :O) on the butter. For appetizers, I ordered a ricotta & nettle tortellini. As per fancy restaurant norm, it came with 3 small pieces. They were totally delicious though! I'm not entirely sure what nettle is (some black type of leaf), but it tasted really good in the cheesy parmesan sauce. The pasta tasted homemade and was the perfect chewy consistency. My dad ordered a weird calamari type dish. It had little tubes of Octupus filled with lobster and a couple fried anchovies. Weird looking but he claimed it was awesome.
fancy looking knife

My entree was the pork chop steak thing. It came out looking highly fancy, bone in and all. The meat on the pork was SOOO juicy, possibly the juiciest pork I've ever had. I don't eat a ton of pork though, so I'm no expert. I think my favorite part were the mini potatoes. They were skinned and so golden buttery delicious! My dad noted that you can usually tell you are at a good restaurant by the quality of the side dish veggies. True story. He ordered the California swordfish. I tried a piece and it was excellent! I really liked that the little cauliflower stalks on his were green. Weird colored veggies make me happy.
We of course had to get dessert. I decided to go with a really random thing: a honey pinenut tart. It basically looked like a gooey granola bar and had a very great honey taste to it. It was quite unique so it satisfied me. It also came with a little scoop of grapefruit rosemary gelato on a thin cookie which was excellent. My dad kept it simple by ordering the carrot cake. I thought his was alright, but not anything too memorable. He also ordered a strawberry cheesecake bon bon to split which was only mediocre.
The wait staff was very nice, and although the food was quite pricey, I highly enjoyed the meal. It definitely will be an expensive dinner, but I would recommend Boulevard as a special occasion type place to check out if you are looking for something more traditional.

Dining in the Dark

For Carlos's bday date, I wanted to go somewhere super special. Ok... actually let me be honest. I wanted to go to a certain super special restaurant, and inserted his bday date as an excuse to splurge the $$$$ per person ;D

Last Wednesday I checked out the famous Opaque in the highly ghetto Western Addition portion of Hayes Valley. Opaque is an entirely pitch black restaurant. It is designed to simulate what it's like to be blind and having all of your other senses heightened. So freaking cool. I was very happy when Carlos was as excited as me about the surprise experience.

You enter and immediately walk down stairs to a dimmed corridor. There you look at menus and pick your 3 course meal. After you decide, you are escorted in to the darkness by a legally blind waiter. I thought the route to the table was one of the coolest sensations of the evening. It's really crazy to just hold on to the waiter's shoulder and put full trust in his navigational skillz. We were very lucky and seated at a booth in the corner (or I assume it was a corner). When they say dark, they really mean it. You can't see ANYTHING at all.

We had an amazing time just hanging out waiting for our various courses. You are started off with drinks and bread. I was happily surprised by how easily I was able to bring the food to my mouth. Being in the dark is fun because no one can see what you do... :) it makes it quite easy to prank your tablemate and move around the condiments.

After the bread course, you are delivered a plate of 3 veggies & 3 sauces and given the challenge of guessing. It's actually surprisingly hard, and we got all of the sauces wrong. It's odd how much visuals play in to remembering what day-to-day tastes are. The meals were pretty good as well. I had a salmon curry dish w/ potatos, and Carlos got chicken w/ rice. The weirdest part about the entree was trying to use the fork in the dark. I think they delibrately put your food on a giant plate so that you keep missing. It's a bit unnerving because I kept putting the fork down, feeling resistance, and then bringing it to my mouth empty. So weird.

I'm really glad we went on a Wednesday because it let us savor our meal more. Our waiter kept returning ready for our next course while we were only half way through the previous. Every time he walked up he would whistle or hum to warn you. During some of the breaks, I'd imagine how easily someone could approach you in silence... super creepy but I love freaking myself out.

The desserts were ok, but I wasn't a big fan of either choice. It was mocha pudding or chocolate cake. Both kinda gross :P. I was so excited about the experience in general that I didn't even care about the food though. It was just so neat to have an entire meal essentially blinded. It's crazy because you can hear other patrons in the distance, but it's hard to determine how far they are from you or how the restaurant is positioned.

We milked the experience for as long as we could and didn't end up leaving until almost 11. I'm so so so happy we went. Although it was pricey, it was totally something I think everyone should do once with a date. It was a very intimate and fun experience that I'm very glad I got to be a part of.

Highly recommend :D. Although! If you go in SF, be careful where you park. I grabbed a spot on McAllister (less than a block away), and when we came out we found the car behind us had its windows smashed in :S. Eeks.

North Beach Deja Vu

mini booths w/ paintings
Back when I was trolling Yelp for a good North Beach place to check out for my bday party, one particular restaurant, Tommaso Ristorante Italiano, kept popping up. I really wanted to go then, but they don't take reservations, and all the reviews said it got really crowded on weekends. I decided to queue it up on my lists, and finally hit it up for my last date night.

It's always fun going over to North Beach because it gives me the whole I'm so cool I freaking live in San Francisco and work at a video game company and life is awesome <:D feeling. Totally irrational, but it happens. This time I was geeking out especially badly because after 15 mins of looking for parking, I finally got a spot (90 degree angle space!!) that had an incredible view of TransAmerica building on one side, and Coit Tower on the other. Such good times

When we got to Tommaso's, I had this crazy flashback deja vu of being there with my dad back on one of my many college trips to Cali. As soon as we opened the door it was totally confirmed as I recognized the mini booths with faux Mediterranean frescoes on the walls. We had to wait a few mins to be seated, and then we got stuck in the middle of the giant communal table.

It was late-ish when we got there (prolly 8:45) and so people were starting to clear out. It was pretty ridiculous because the way the traffic flow went, everyone left the center table except the parties directly on either side of us :P. Truthfully, worse for them because both Carlos and I were still in our many bouts of loud coughing fit sickness. It was kind of annoying though, because it made everything REALLY hard to hear. I have trouble enough trying to understand his accent anyways, so adding on excessive ambient noise did not help at all. It was a whole lot of "QUE?!"ing all night.

lasagna
The food itself was decently tasty. I ended up getting a cheese pizza with garlic, and Carlos got some lasagna. I really liked my pizza and the small was more than enough food for two meals for me (even with someone stealing a couple pieces :P). The lasagna was ok, but not as memorable. There were a bunch of varieties of pizzas, so it would be fun to go back with a group and order several to split.

Overall the meal was good, but the loudness of the room and crowdedness of our seating kind of put a damper on it. If I went again, I'd try to guarantee getting a mini-booth for privacy. I haven't been very many places in North Beach, but I have a feeling I'd disagree with the many reviews calling Tommaso's the best. It's good, but not omfh amazing.

Giant Meatball Action

outside wall
One of the few rules of RDN is that we can't go to a place without the submitter being present. Luckily for us, Panch has yet to put anything in the hat, or we'd all be SOL :P. But lately, we've been running in to the same issue with the newly promoted lead: Manu <3. For like a month we had been tabling Emmy's Spaghetti Shack until he was finally able to go last Monday.
awesome bread

hipster vibe
We decided to be nice and invite Ken to this RDN as a new job special. It was a decision I immediately regretted as he showed up late, and Emmy's is strict about their "no seating till the whole party arrives" rule. Emmy's is a cute, well-known dive place in Bernal Heights across from the Safeway. It has fun art on the outside of the building and the inside is very hipster. It is decorated to look shack-like, and has things like laundry hanging from the ceiling. The menu is pretty simplistic, but there are a variety of Italian dishes. All of us went for the famous spaghetti and giant meat balls except Manu (since he can't have red meat).

cute menu
I think one of my favorite parts of the dinner was the free appetizer bread. It was a chopped up focaccia with olive oil and so insanely good. I can't even remember why, but I know we gobbled it up in like a minute and luckily they promptly brought more. I think it may have had Rosemary on it, cuz I freaking love Rosemary.

The pasta dishes came and were HUGE. All of us were pretty hungry and no one got more than half-way through their food. Each spaghetti came with three large meatballs. They were about the size of your fist and very filling and tasty. The pasta itself wasn't particularly notable, but like most such dishes, it still tasted good since spaghetti is hard to screw up. I was happy that even after being stuffed I had a giant dish of leftovers to take home.
giant meatballs & spaghetti
Emmy's seems like a nice, dependable, neighborhood joint where you go if you are in need some some serious meatball fix. It isn't too big, so unless you want to wait, it's probably best to go at an off-time or a weeknight.

A Mission Staple

As usual, RDN was just Eugi and me this week. Once again, we were trying to go to Emmy's, but since it was Manu's pick, we are tabling it for hopefully next week. After like 5 more picks from the hat to find a non-Manu entry, we ended up with Pizzeria Delfina.

I was very excited to FINALLY be going to Delfina. I feel like it's one of those places in the Mission that you pretty much have to have been to in order to be considered local. Delfina is split in to two sections, a fancy sit-down Italian side, and then the pizzeria. I've never been to the fancy side either, but it's pretty pricey and seems similar to Farina where I have been.

asparagus & rice soup
The pizzeria side always gets long lines and has no reservations, so it's best to get there on an off time. Even when we showed up at 8:00 on a Monday, it was packed with a long waiting list. It does have some outside seating, but it was wayyyy too freezing this week to go for it. Plus there is always a giant crowd of like 20 people waiting for their table looming around you. Eugi and I had nowhere to be, so we put our name down and waited for like... 40 mins-ish before we were finally seated.

4 cheese pizza
I've seen some awesome pictures on Yelp about specialty pizzas they have with things like eggs and corn. Unfortunately, they didn't seem to have any of those that night. We were both kind of boring and he got a margherita, and I got a 4 cheese pizza. While you wait, they give you bottomless long, thin & crispy breadsticks to eat. They were ok, but I wish they had either had some flavoring, or there would have been some type of dipping sauce to spice them up.

Eugi also got an asparagus and rice soup as an appetizer. I only tried a bite, but I actually didn't like it too much. It had too much asparagus and pepper flavoring for me.... but, I think that was on purpose due to the type of soup :P.

The pizzas arrived really quickly. Due to the constant traffic flow, the place seems very ready to turn customers in and out. There is a full kitchen in view in the tiny restaurant, and you can see 4-5 chefs busy at work preparing the pizzas.

1 cheese pizza haha
Both of them were tasty! The crust was thing and soft with yummy sauce. I really liked the cheeses on mine, you could clearly taste the different types. Eugi seemed to enjoy his a lot too. I haven't tried enough of the staple SF pizza places to determine where this ranks, but it's definitely a great thin crust contender. wish we had gotten some other varieties of toppings, but I guess there is always next time. It seemed like you could get take out pretty easily, so I might try that since my house isn't too far.

My favorite part of the shop was a giant mural of SF painted on the wall. It was really neat because it used bright colors and a very stylized art type to depict the city. On one side was bright oranges and reds to represent daytime, and on the other were darker night colors. My only beef was that the sections were split by the TransAmerica tower and not the Sutro >: | that totally would have made more sense.

half of the amazing SF mural
It didn't quite meet the expectations from all the hype I'd heard... but a good local spot to check out! Then go down 3 shops and wait in line forever at Bi-Rite ;p

Late Night Ramen

flowers! <3
I'm going to take a break in the middle of my Germany posts to keep things more interesting and prevent excess backups :)

Returning from Berlin was like the happiest moment ever. Not that the trip was THAT bad..... but I was just so freaking happy to finally be back in my beloved SF bay area. Things started out great as Carlos picked me up at the airport with flowers :) and then took me back to my place to help unpack. After being up for like 24 hours and having nothing but kind of crappy but overly filling airplane pastas, I was really ready to have a nice, warm and light dinner. Only problem was that by the time we were ready to head out, it was pushing 10 on a Sunday night :(

Luckily for us, SF has plenty of places open late, and we were able to quickly pick Tanpopo, a decently rated ramen shop in the Japantown area. It was located just outside the mall on one of the mini walking streets. I was surprised by how crowded it was on a Sunday night, but it's a fairly spacious shop so there was no issue.

I was very impressed that we were immediately given water! And not only was it prompt, but the attendant refilled it without being asked multiple times!! One problem I have with many traditional Japanese restaurants is that it's hard to get beverages. This was some major points for Tanpopo.

The menu was definitely ramen focused but also had other Japanese dishes. I liked that the 12ish varieties were all listed with pictures. Picture menus make me happy. There was a pretty good selection of diff types with various meats and spicing. Free egg included!

spicy miso w/ extra pork
As a savvy consumer, I was ready with two options: garlic and spicy miso. Carlos also had two options, one being the spicy, so we determined that he should get that and I'd get garlic so I could try his. Then I totally Sharon failed when the server arrived!! I was informed that they had run out of garlic for the night, and instead of being creative I quickly switched my order to spicy miso meaning we both got the same thing. :P lame. His had extra pork in it, but otherwise, no even ingredient variations.

The ramen was pretty tasty! The spicy broth was very good and I liked the items in the soup. They even had one of those weird naruto swirly fish cakes in them which makes it seem super authentic. The noodles themselves were a bit chewy, and I think they might have been overcooked. It was good, but not outstanding. I feel like I would need to go back and try shoyu or something more basic before I made a final ranking.

size comparison with my glasses. HUGE!
Overall, it was a fun experience and it was perfect for its purpose. Also, the bowls were freaking huge which is inherently exciting :D

Tots, Funnel Cake, and a Burger on a Krispy Kreme Bun :D

wwf @ the coffee shop
Sometimes I scare myself because I tend to build restaurants and their ridiculous food items up so much in advance that when I actually get there, they aren't that great... especially yesterday. I could barely work because I  was so busy planning for the most potentially epic Roommate Dinner Night ever! So epic that I even did the unspeakable and opened it up to non-SF roomy friends! I was finally going to Straw, the brand new carnival themed restaurant in Hayes Valley that's been getting insane Yelp buzz.

salt + macchiato
Straw is a totally weird-trendy-hipster hole-in-the-wall place on Octavia right off of 101. I had read some reviews that crowds could get bad, so I planned ahead and arrived about 15 mins early for a Monday 8:00pm dining session. It was totally packed!! I spoke to Ari (the crazy nice owner) and he was extremely helpful about my situation. He was very honest in telling me it would be like 1.5 hours before we could seat my party of 7 no matter what permutations we split in to. I was kind of depressed and waited outside for the rest of the group. As people started to arrive (and sadly some dropped out <3 eugi & manu), we determined it was worth it. Cutting our group to 5 helped lower the wait to 45ish mins, and after a quick pit stop at my trunk for emergency granola bar rations, we settled at an adjacent coffee shop.
tilt-a-whirl booth!!

Beyond being so helpful/accomodating with taking names down, Ari was also super cool by personally coming and fetching each party when their table was ready. Ken, James, Carlos, Yee Cheng and I ended up having a lot of fun in the shop despite being starving :). Highlights include Ken mistaking sugar for salt and dousing his macchiato with it, and then completely slamming me down for being too bitchy sometimes :P. James also started pregraming with cinnamon french toast.

Then we were collected and seated :D!! Straw is super tiny but really cozy. Everything about the furniture and decor screams carnival. All of the wall hangings are pictures and signs from rides, the lamps are made of glass jars, there are hay bails in the background, and even one of the booths is made from a tilt-a-whirl cart. The menus were adorable and made individually using old hard book covers. We had pre-browsed the menu and were totally ready to go.
cute hand-made menus

For appetizers, we got: mac & cheese w/ apples & bacon, sweet potato tater tots with blackberry bbq sauce, cheesey corn fritters con fraiche, and mini-corn dogs! All were totally amazing. We shared and devoured them within minutes. The apples added a really great touch to the mac & cheese, I really want to try it at home. I also was really impressed by all of the sauces that came with the items. The corn fritters had a very spicy & awesome aoili that I ended up dipping pretty much everything in. Plus... freaking sweet potato tater tots?! That is inherently unprecedented win :D. I wish wish wish I wasn't still a bit sick so I could have tasted them in their full glory, but I really liked the juxtaposition between those and their blackberry sauce.
mac&cheese w/ apples, sweet potato tots

corn dogs
We all decided to get different "carny" sandwiches because they were too bizarre to pass up. Additionally, it looks like Straw has a monthly changing menu of more legit entrees. I had to go with the "ringmaster" sandwich- a hamburger with a freaking Krispy Kreme donut for a bun!! The rest of the table got: Waffle w/fried chicken, swiss & raspberry jam, "hot tamale" (buffalo chicken), "bearded lady" (pulled pork w/ blackberry coulis & gorgonzola cream), and "boxcar children" (pb&j w/ ham). I think I would have enjoyed the sandwiches regardless of the taste just because of the funny names and crazy ingredients.
corn fritters

I LOVED my burger on a donut <:D. It was actually a lot tastier than I was expecting and something every person should try once. I think it's the same concept as fries & ice cream, mmm. I ended up splitting half & half w/ Ken's waffle sandwich. I didn't like that quite as much because I'm anti chicken, but the waffle portion was delicious. I had small bites of the others and nothing disappointed.

BURGER ON A DONUT! + chicken waffle sandwich
Despite being totally stuffed, we HAD to get dessert. Carlos & I split some funnel cake!!! It came with 3 dipping sauces (choco, vanilla, strawberry) and was pretty awesome. Ken got this ridiculous "flying saucer" which was like.... chunks of chocolate covered in this peanut butter cream mass with things of bacon stuck on top. As I don't like any of those components I didn't really try it, but he seemed to enjoy. James got a big thing of orang-blossom cotton candy. I hate cotton candy, but this was AWESOME! Very melt-in-your-mouth flavorful fantastic. Finally, YC got a gelato medley... rosemary and pineapple-lavender I think? He had attempted to get an inverse root beer float (root beer gelato w/ cream soda), but sadly they were out.

We ended up splitting it all evenly, and with tip it was only $25 a person. This wasn't bad at all considering how much we ate, and how much fun we had at the place. Ken was super happy because they donate 10% to charities on Mondays (this month's is Spark). The bill was a lot of fun because our waitress was super cute, and so we liked getting to talk to her more. I think my favorite part was how down to earth the staff was, they seem to really really care that you are having a good time and treat you like you are friends.

funnel cake & "flying saucer" pb, choco, bacon
This was one of the most fun dining experiences I've had in the Bay Area. The food is great, but more than that, it's just a really enjoyable time to relax with friends and enjoy a very unique meal. I'd get there ASAP before their liquor license goes through and they get even more crowded!! Highly highly highlyyyyy recommend :)

Sweet Maple Brunch

Waiting area w/ magazines for inevitable 11 am crowds
Ugh. Still hate being sick. After a slightly socially stressful time out last night, I slept in crazy late this morning (11am) and was totally dead. My original plan was to lay in my pjs until I had to answer the door for the dinner delivery person, but then Eugi suggested we go get brunch. Since I was hungry and there's nfw I'm jogging today (tear...), I accepted.

I really enjoy the foods, but I almost never go to brunch. My issue is that I generally eat way too much at an awkward hour and then it screws up my food time frame for the rest of the day. I'm always semi-sad about it though, because there are so many amazing sounding places in the city. Today, I immediately picked a place in lower Pac Heights that has been on my lists for awhile: Sweet Maple.

so spacious! wood oven for pizza back there
Luckily it was pretty late when we arrived (2pm), so we missed the morning rush. I was really impressed by the size of the restaurant. Most city places are small and cramped, but this one was quite spacious and had ample seating. I imagine that around 11-12 it is probably pretty packed because they had several waiting areas both in and outside. The decor actually kind of reminded me of Utah for some reason. It had the kind of rustic, new Pepperwood look to it with beige uneven brick work and dark wood tables and seating. This of course made me happy :)

Sweet Maple is only open for breakfast and lunch which makes me sad because their menu is huge an extensive. They have a wide variety of omelets, scrambles, french toasts, eggs benedict, pizzas, burgers and more. They even have fried french toast!! I guarantee that's why it made it on my lists in the first place.

It was a really hard decision, but  I went with cinnamon (non fried!) french toast with mixed berries and yogurt. They also had a version with fried bananas and candied walnuts. Superrrr good!!! They put a lot of effort in to the presentation of the food, so I was already satisfied with my choice before I even tasted it. They also have complimentary real maple syrup on every table which was a treat. I doused the pieces in syrup and then dipped them in the yogurt... <3. By the end the yogurt was maple flavored, win!

cinnamon french toast w/ berries & yogurt
Eugi got a breakfast pizza, and I was so jealous because it ended up having a fried egg on it! I freaking love egg on unexpected items. It also had goat cheese, sun dried tomatoes and some arugula. He was nice enough to offer me a piece (cuz unlike most people, I am 100% going to accept such offers) and yes, win as well. My first comment was "dang, this is so savory!!" The crust was really flavorful and the rest of the toppings combined perfectly to make a filling and yummy meal.
egg on pizza!!!!!
Highly recommend for a good weekend brunch!
